Volcanoes National Park (French: Parc National des Volcans) lies on the extreme end of the Northwestern border, the Park is famously known fro the Outstanding apex pointed Mountains. The Park was first gazetted in 1925, to protect the endangered Mountain Gorillas away from Poachers. The Park is also known by the famous American Naturalist Dian Fossey, who set up Karisoke Research Centre and carried her research on gorillas in 1967. Most of the visitors who come to this Park, find it un-resistible visiting the Park minus paying a respect to the grave of Dian Fossey who was buried in this Park. Her life time mission to save these gorillas from extinction, didn’t fed off. We are able to trek and enjoy the beauty of these gorillas because of her efforts to bring the gorillas plight to attention of the international community.

Day 1: Arrive at Kigali Airport.

Our tour expert will pick you up from the hotel, brief you about the 3 days Rwanda gorilla tour, and later drive you off in our Safari beasts, through the gridlocked traffic, leaving the bustle and hustle of the city behind. The scenery takes a different shape as we drive farther from the city towards Ruhengeri just nearby the Park, check in your lodge, dinner and sinner.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in the Volcanoes national park

There is always a special feeling after arriving at this Park; tranquility. Its like taking a deep breath, looking out over the amazing nature all covered by mist and lost off the grid. After your morning breakfast, Carry along your tracking gears as advised by our expert, grab your drinking water and be directed to the Park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and guidelines for Rwanda gorilla trekking. After this, Along with an armed game ranger, penetrate the jungle through the remote jungle trails that showcases all mother natures store. You might encounter with the common ones, the forest Monkeys, tortoses, chameleons, butterflies, Unique bird species among others.

The gorilla trek normally takes 1-2 hours, and the trek depends on where the giants last fed from or where they last slept the previous day. When you encounter with them, observe the rules and regulations for your own safety, remember these are wild animals and can be wild at anytime. Spend 1 hour having an experience with the Mountain Gorillas. Later retire back to the lodge for your Lunch.

After lunch, you will have an Option to stay at the lodge and may be relax on the secluded overlooking lodge facilities that offer magnificent sightings to the jungle, its a haven for best Photo-shots. The other Option is, enjoying a guided nature walk around the local Villages, Community Visits are thrilling and worthy a memorable experience, learning the way of life on the countryside. Day 3: En-route back, Kigali City Tour
